How I announced I was engaged to my kindergarten students

I could not wait to share my engagement with some of the most important little people in my life. Every Monday morning, we read our over the weekend journal. So I hide my own journal among them. I surprised them and took it out and said whose is this? And one of my readers said "Miss Dunmore!" Then I read it to them.
